About 2 months ago I went and saw the Black Lips play live, here in London. They'd played this venue called Heaven, which is a gay bar by night and a, uhhh well it was a gay bar by night and a slightly less gay bar this night. I got to the show kinda late, but who cares about opening acts, I was there for the Lips! The BLs got on stage and killed it. By the end of the night security was shitting themselves, kids and band members were jumping off stage and lead singer Cole was attempting to strum the guitar with his dick. Well it was quite a night to say the least and the music wasn't too shabby either. Anywho The Atlanta-based, pysch-garage-rock-bad boys have decided to invade Juan's basement and then sit down for a good ol interview. Here they cruise through "You're Dumb" and "Burried Alive," 2 tunes that jangle with Deep South mystique and 1960's psychedelia.
