I'm pretty indifferent to the latest release from Jay-Z "Brooklyn (Go Hard)" featuring samplings from Santogold's song "Shove It" off of her 2008 self-titled debut. The song features the annoyingly excessive sampling of typical Kanye production who creeps to a new low with a song that captures the sheer mediocrity of his most latest works. Jay-Z offers an decent couple o' verses and Santogold chimes in the latter half of the song (cue 2:45) but otherwise there are very few redeeming qualities that makes this song more than just another boring, typical Kanye production. Judging from the video, the song will be featured on the upcoming Biggie biopic "Notorious" which makes me question how credible the film is really going to be. But hey, I just call it as I see it. You be the judge.
