As Pitchfork has acknowledge the Brit Crookers's remix of Kid Cudi's "Day N Night" is off the chainnn..but only in the UK. Yeah you can't hit up a London club without hearing this jam..from Zoobar to Tiger Tiger to Walkabout! Its everywhere and whats the reasoning? Well, its all about Crookers. He adds a funky buzz saw club friendly bass line that gets this song bumpin. As my days across the pond draw to a close it will be difficult to imagine the US bar scene not featuring songs like this and instead continually blastin Lil Wayne and Kanye (reverse culture shock?), which has its perks as well. Anyway heres the video for the song, with Cudi living out some wild fantasy in a convenient store with multi-spectrum women enjoying the soup can isle. The videos pretty ok, worth a watch at least, but the song is what getsya. Have a look:
