If you haven't already heard of Miike Snow, they are one part american, two parts swedish sensation responsible for the highly remixed "Animal" and "Burial" these past few months. If you haven't heard of them you can check out the aforementioned edits ova here. There catchy electro-folk-pop makes me really happy and I'm psyched over their recent self-titled release. Here is their single "Animal" set over a Manimal montage.
This next song "Plastic Jungle" exemplifies their highly processed production style that blends house, electro and pop perfectly to provide the backing for infectious vocal lines.
Here is "In Search of." I can't get enough of the swirling synth layers and stuttered, flighty leads. Can you dig?
