Cass McCombs's Catacombs is P4K's most recent 'best new music' album and to be honest I haven't heard it and don't know much about the dude. Buttt judging by this single and nifty video I'm betting its good. "You Saved My Life," is a slow Elliott Smith meets Stephen Malkmus (sort of) with a little country twang thrown in, jam that I'm totally vibin on. Also this vid is cool, with the camera following around a mysterious (its Cass) ultra hip-punkster( awesome boots and jacket), as he literally subverts a crowd of Middle-Americans.
