This remix of The Weeknd and Drake's 'Crew Love' off of Take Care materialized after LA beat-smith, Shlohmo (Friends of Friends), gave the track a cold menacing treatment that though initially unsolicited, has now been given official sanction by The Weeknd. Menacing atmospheres and expertly-laid drums kick off the tune, swelling and crescendoing into Drake's chopped and screwed verse. Infused with dark energy, the track gets flipped and transformed into something more nefarious and mournful that juxtaposes the original beautifully. Free download is available here.
