Another Sunny Day - You Should All Be Murdered

Sometimes we like to travel back in time on this blaugh, and today's Monday installment features Another Sunny Day. ASD was an early moniker for the prolific Sarah Records twee-pop all star, Harvery Williams. Williams, was the real OG of jangling guitar, heart on sleeve, Crycore. I've always thought Another Sunny Day had more in common with The Field Mice, than the Smiths, but this song always garners a Morrissey/Marr comparison. No matter who else it sort of sound like this jam rules. Dig it:

Recently I've been moping way to much. What happens when you mope? You either listen to the Pope of Mope himself, or someone who sounds exactly like him. Harvey Williams was and is the latter, and one of his first musical outings was under the moniker of Another Sunny Day. This stuff is very much in the vein of Twee, but the guitar has a little more edge to it...I guess...actually maybe not, but its good stuff all around. "The people who wrecked my life and all my so-called friends"... I feel like all of us can agree people like that should most definitely be murdered. So sit, sulk and enjoy this total sad-sack, Sarah Records throw back!
