1980s psych-connoisseur Gary Ramon was one of those guys who loves to ceaselessly put out butt loads of material. He eventually reached minimal success with his 90s space-rock act Sun Dial. Modern Art was Ramon's first musical outing, with a loose lineup that never played shows. The sound is a serious blend of post-punk and psychedelia. They only had 2 full albums, but Ramon released a number of different cassettes, that were washed in a tape-warped buzz that would make Ariel Pink jealous. Oriental Towers is a great album and a sick jam. This vid ain't much, but its got a neat VHS quality to it, with saturated colors phasing in an out.
