Mr Twin Sister - Out Of The Dark

Twin Sister have tacked on a Mr to their name for whatever reason.. works for me! Lords of Funky Twee, hypnotic riff crafters from the future, are back with a totally iced out new banger. Out of the Dark is an arp heavy dance-to-the-rhythm type of jam. Reminiscent of early synthefied Euro Disco, like Saada Bonaire or Tom Tom Club. This is one hot number that is sure to shake some manes. Dig it:

Saâda Bonaire - You Could Be More As You Are

Rare and mysterious, early 80s neveau romantics, Saâda Bonaire, have been reanimated for a new Captured Tracks release. This track sounds like it could have been put out today by someone like Empress Of, or Geneva Jacuzzi, but in reality it was written many years ago! Bouncing brass synthesisers, over some jangling sitar + a Tom Tom Club-esque bassline = the right fucking disco song for Monday the 14th. Like a spider dancing on the strings of broken mandolin, left forgotten in the back green room of a steamy discotheque. Voila:
