Look Back In Anger: David Gray. You remember that dude? Probably if you do, you don't remember him very fondly. Your mom bought his record, or your older sister gave it to you after she got way more into Coldplay. Either way, David Gray and his early LP, White Ladder deserve a second listen. Forreal. Take Babylon, here! His only song to really garner much airplay, has a spindly dream like quality, with a jangling guitar, mid-tempo drum machine and Gray's soft as snow, but warm inside vocals.
