Mt Si - Oh

Sexually haunted sunbeams glaze this undeniable track from Mt Si. There's a romantic mystery about this (group?) and its music that seems overly fitting for soundtracking the closing of summer. The night is growing longer and soon we'll all be wrapped up in our favorite Fall costumes. Enjoy the sunny sun while it lasts! Here's Oh:

Part Time - My Jamey

Here's a new single from glitz-funk vendor, Part Time. Sparkly and bouncing with echoes, My Jamey is like a Human League B-side, produced by Ariel Pink. Swirl into this one and let it spin you away:

Here ya go, get ready to get excited and feel a little embarrassed at your desk:

Kuhrye-oo - Air Days ft. Evy Jane

#ClubbangingWednesday. Canadian House wizard, Kuhrye-oo, conjures up 90s leaning, techno rhythms and swirls them around down-tempo pop melodies. Air Days has touches of The Orb, or early Moby, with marching band drum machine snares, snapping around a cloud-like synth. Evy Jane sounds like a cross between Paul Cole and Grimes, as her voice is thrown around the track to a dizzying degree. This is straight weirdo pop and it totally rulez:

Vondelpark - Always Forever (Debukas Remix)

We often talk about bangin in the club around here, but when you really get down to the nittygritty, some of those tracks that we talk about, really would not work that well in the club. Its true and I will admit it... But this time? It's forreal. I present: A beautiful house slammer from Vondelpark via Debukas. Debukas desmantles the downtempo, Volcano Choir-eqsue dream-poper, and reanimates it again as a Franken-rave-ready-bangore. Slow building and heavy handed, with a tonality that brings to mind both the past AND the future(listen to those 7th chords,yo!). This is like what you want you want to hear right now, on a Friday.

Tinashe - 2 On (video)

Tinashe, the soon it be uber mondo, Pop R&B mega star, and former Proactiv endorser(she DOES have good skin) drops a serious heater. This literally defines the term #clubbanger for this blaugh. This is one of those serious dance traxx that starts with snaps and ends with 808s tom fills. Totally reminiscent of Ciara, or Cassie, or dare I say it? Aaliyah? I won't actually say Aaliyah, cuz comparing Aaliyah to anyone in R&B these days is like comparing Barack to Reagan (look at the facts they ain't that far off #politikoRealTalk). But this is a hot track that ft.s the Schoolboy himself. Also the vid is your typical all girl clique chilling in the dance studio, bustin the dopest bodyrolls you've ever seen. A must watch/listen:

Lolawolf - Jimmy Franco (video)

Zoe Kravtiz's Future-Pop, Nouveau R&B project is Lolawolf. Traversing a similar terrain as Sky Ferreira and Solange, Lolawolf relies on unexpected drum rhythms and spacey synth pads, to construct absorbing pop melodies. A$AP 's in this clip, but really its worth tuning just for the song. #Clubbanger:

Todd Osborn - 5thep

Finnnnallly, finnally, finally. A club banger worth puttin up. Dude, Todd O + Joel from Hot Chip = dope ass shit. This is that early 90s hotness. Its a Sex-House, over-use-of-a-sample, feel-this-fckn-beat typa jam. Dig it:

Chromeo - Come Alive (ft. Toro Y Moi)

Normally I'm not an enormous fan of Chromeo. Their name is dumb. They sound like a watered down version of Hall & Oates and Holy Ghost! combined. The one guy is not as cool as A-trak. All that aside, Come Alive is wondrous song. Maybe its the influence of Chaz Bundick, or maybe Chromeo has just gotten their shit together, but so far this is the best dance trizzy of 2014! Blending sounds of Nouveau Disco with something like Nouveau House (both of which are Über chic right now) Chromeo hits the nail on the head with this one. This could be a glossafied cut from Toro's first album, either way its a club banger! check it:

David Bowie - Love Is Lost (Hello Steve Reich Mix by James Murphy)

Showcasing his mastery of threading synthesized melodies and unusual beats, James Murphy needlepoints one of David Bowie's latest singles into a slow-building, dark-disco opus. Beautifully unassuming, a round of applause morphs into a trance inducing beat, while a square-wave synth gesticulates under Bowie's horse vocals. Its a wondrous thing; tune in:
