Uhhhh, sorry for the sorta long hiatatus. Anywho! Sigur Ros is back, you guys! Yes, forreal everyone's 2nd favorite Icelandic isolationist, who compose the most orchestral/beautiful music in the world are back! :)
They're set to drop a new album May 28 and just unleashed a new track for us all to ponder. Its a slow one, (surprise, surprise) but its really a return to form for Jonsi & the gang. Theres lots of strings, pitched vocals and what sounds like a choir of eunuchs, but its all sort of reminiscent of early Ros, circa Ágætis byrjun. Check it out, while bathing in a pool of mud under the dormant volcano and the Aurora Borealis.
