Grimes - REALiTi (video)

This is a new Grimes song. Apparently its not on her new album. Poss because its too poppy? Its hard to say why she would leave this tune off a new LP, unless all her other tracks are way doper, but this is a serious club banger. Jittery stabs and the unmistakable wisp of Grimes's voice are present, as is the grimey synth used for Better Off Alone. This is a throbbing, club-next-door sort of track, where you feel like you're just missing the melody or something, but then you listen and you're like oh yeah there it is, right under my nose! Also this is fantastic vid, which we should all expect from Grimes these days. Dancing in weird, hidef environments its totally her jam. And it totally werks. Get it done:

Nic Hessler - I Feel Again

Soundtrack to a speedway, Nic Hessler's rollickin new single really spunks things up! Nic Hessler is the poppiest artist Captured Tracks has signed since Wild Nothing, yet Pop is not their only commonality. Both groups share a familiar thread of Post-Punk guitar work, that shakes their tunes with dreamy nostalgia. I Feel Again is a real strumbucker, with super groovy riffs, pepped up to get us in the mood (for Spring?). Whether your into this kind stuff or not, you cant deny Hessler's accessibility. Check this one out, guys:

Demure For Sure - You're Scared

Sleepy glo-wave mysteriosos, Demure For Sure, spin some hazefied Spring tunage. This group shares some commonality with Black Moth Super Rainbow, or Teen Daze, but they lean slightly more towards a woozy psych-rock sound than either of those other acts. Have sip of You're Scared, if you dare:

Mac DeMarco - Brother

Maaaan, I'm fungry (that's Fuckin Hungry!) Its time for a Mac Atacck! Thank god Mac DeMarco's new album is nearly hear cuz literally everything else that has been gurgling up the surface has been pure crap. Seriously, not much out there these days, and that's why I'm on the edge of my seat cushion, awaiting Salad Days. Your Welcome:

Vivien Vee

Now I don't give a shit if you don't like disco, but disco has seen a huge revival of late with Sebastien Tellier to Hercules and Love Affair to my kitchen.

While looking up the music to the classic film "The Warriors" to find a sweet jam I can rock out while making my curry, I found "Italian Disco Legend" Vivien Vee.

"Remember" (From the Warriors), performed in a land of pink mist and giant tennis shoes:

And THIS video for "Alright" is down right fuckin tight...head bands, slow motion and druids:

Get down with Vivien Vee, its spring motherfuckers
